HISTORY

Steve Bryan as an owner or employee has always been involved in the jewelry business. Bill Bryan, his father, opened Bryan’s Jewelry in Minden, Louisiana in 1951 when Steve was just a young boy. As a kid, Steve spent most of his time at Bryan’s Jewelry. As he grew older, he began to help out around the store, recalling the frantic holiday seasons. Upon his graduating high school, Steve trained in jewelry and watch repair in Natchitoches, La. He then moved back to Minden with his wife, Janis, to work for his father at Bryan’s Jewelry.

Steve took over the family business in 1977 when his parents, Bill and Sue, moved back to Marshall, Texas. In 2007, after many years of service, Steve and Janis decided to close the doors to Bryan’s Jewelry. Shortly after, Steve’s Clockworks and Jewel Shoppe was opened. With over 56 years of experience in jewelry and watchmaking, Steve has used his knowledge and skills to provide quality service in jewelry, watchmaking, and clock repair to the Northwest Louisiana area. Though many changes have occurred, one thing remains the same— quality, friendly service at a great price.
